Mhairi's campaign to double the number of trains through Worcester Park, Stoneleigh and Ewell West

Local residents using Worcester Park, Stoneleigh and Ewell West stations have been suffering unacceptable levels of overcrowding, delays and cancellations on South Western Railway trains at peak hours.

The supposed ease of the commute to and from London is one of the major reasons people have chosen to live in this area, and these issues are causing serious levels of disruption and stress.

I know what it's like - I've commuted to and from London on the same line for a period of almost twenty years.

I am due to meet with South Western Railway to discuss train services in the constituency. I will be pushing them to provide two extra trains during the morning peak and, in the interim, to reorganise their existing fleet to introduce additional ten-coach services for morning commuters.

The greater the level of support for these changes that I can evidence in advance of that meeting, the greater the chance of success - so please sign the petition below to add your voice to the call for improvement.

If you would like to share more detailed anecdotes of your experience using South Western Railway services, please also feel free to send me an email at [email protected]

Best,

Mhairi Fraser
Your Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Epsom and Ewell (and a fellow frustrated commuter)
